Come make quiet things.
Four days a week, one time zone, no crunch and no live service. We hire slowly and rarely, and we would rather be honest about that up front.
Life at DuboTee
What the week looks like.
We work four days a week, in one time zone, with a two-hour overlap window and no meetings outside it. The fifth day belongs to you; a lot of people use it to make things that are not our games.
Crunch is a planning failure, so when we get close to one we cut scope instead of adding hours. Every game we have shipped has lost a feature someone loved. That is the trade, and we make it out loud.
Everyone playtests. Engineers sit in on art reviews. The person who answers support email has a standing invitation to design meetings, because they know things the rest of us do not.
